“Where you look affects how you feel”
Brain-spotting is a form of therapy that supports clients with identifying the connection between our mind, body and life experiences. Clients are able to identify painful experiences and feelings that interfere with them living their best life. At EJC brain-spotting is incorporated into a traditional therapy session. The trained brain-spotting therapist supports clients with processing and recovering from past trauma.
Brain-spotting can be used to treat:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- ADHD
- Chronic Pain
- Anger
- Phobias
- Low Motivation
- Procrastination
- Stress
“Where we look affects how we feel”. Brain-spotting focuses on the eye gaze of the client. The eyes have a significant relationship with the mind and the body. Trauma and other painful experiences are often stored in the body and can be triggered with certain eye gaze. The therapist uses tools to help the client process feelings and identify sources of healing and recovery.
This may be the form of therapy for you if you’re trying therapy for the first time or if you’ve been in therapy for a while with little progress.
