LaTonja Pickett, LCSWA

Being a mother can be challenging. You’re often expected to do it all: take care of the children, do household chores, get groceries, pick up the children, and so on. Have you ever felt like you can't keep up and losing hope? Or, that you have lost your identity in parenting? If you can relate, consider spending some time with me. My name is Latonja, and I am a mother of two young children.

I want you to know that you’re not alone, and I would like to offer support.
Childbirth is a beautiful experience. However, it can also be a traumatic experience in which you or your baby’s life is in jeopardy. Perinatal mental health is natural yet often misunderstood.

Therefore, it's essential to address these challenges and support all caregivers.
I am working on creating a community of support and understanding. I welcome the opportunity to help navigate the complexities of motherhood, validate your experiences, and, most of all, be a source of the support you need. I’m available online and, hopefully, when the children are sleeping or in school.
