To continue providing timely care for clients in urgent situations, Essential Journey Counseling offers emergency and weekend appointments when availability allows after you register as a new client. This policy outlines the requirements for securing these appointments when insurance benefits cannot be verified in advance.

Emergency & Weekend Appointments

  • When insurance benefits cannot be verified in advance, a $150 deposit is required to reserve your appointment.
  • Insurance providers are often unavailable outside of standard business hours, which prevents us from confirming coverage ahead of time.

Deposit Details: -Applied to your copay, deductible, or coinsurance, or -Fully refunded if your insurance covers the session in full

Client Communication

 Clients will be informed of this policy at the time of scheduling an emergency or weekend appointment to ensure transparency regarding billing and expectations.

Acknowledgment of policies is completed during the intake process prior to your first appointment.
