Nishawn Jones

II’m a second-year graduate student at Winthrop University, working toward my Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. I support all in their complexities, offering tools to strengthen relationships and foster healthy, nurturing environments. I have experience working with clients navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I strive to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. I am passionate about working with adults, couples, and families of all identities, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those navigating a variety of relationship structures. I deeply respect the uniqueness of every person I meet and seek to honor their background and story.

I believe every person has the capacity to grow and heal, and it’s an honor to walk alongside clients as they take steps toward change, self-discovery, and resilience. My approach is rooted in empathy, openness, and collaboration. By providing a safe and supportive space, I work with you to explore your sense of self, clarify your values, and develop strategies that fit your life.
